Repairing the installation didn't work. Uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling didn't fix it. For what it's worth, the NullReferenceException isn't thrown until after I select the "Initial Repository." I would turn on client-side logging, but I'm not sure how and haven't found a post in...

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I receive this NullReferenceException on starting the Vault Client on my local computer. I'm able to log in as the same user on another computer with no problems. I'm running the latest versions: [3/27/2008 11:22:28 AM] Version Check: This Vault client is version 4.1.0.16216 [3/27/2008 11:22:28 AM] ...

Feature Request - Label from within VS
It would be convenient to be able to Label a Solution from within Visual Studio.

Undo Checkout doesn't work well with Deleted files
When I Undo Checkout on a Project or Solution, any Deleted files are still showing as Pending Delete in Vault, and Get Latest from VS 2008 won't get them, I have to Get Latest from within Vault. 1. Start with a Solution completely checked-in to vault. 2. Delete a file. 3. Undo Checkout at Solution o...

Just FYI, I tried copying the top-level folder into each of a Console Application, Empty Project, Windows Application and Windows Control Library. All of these project types exhibit the same behavior: 10-second plus delays on right-clicking the project, or any folder beneath the project that has a l...

The project type is Class Library, but I don't think the project type is significant. There is a folder named Scripts beneath the project folder, it has 2 sub-folders Projects and Schemas. These contain quite a few folders each and each of those contains a number of files, usually between 5 and 100 ...

Dev Request (slow-performing right-click on large folders)
We have a project included in all of our Solutions that includes many thousands of files in a heirarchical folder structure. Right-clicking on this project can cause a 10-second delay before the context menu is displayed. This is only true when the project is using Vault as it's source control. My b...

External Projects skipped during check-in / get-latest
Hi,
It appears that any projects that were added as Existing Projects and aren't under the same folder get skipped when doing Check-In and Get-Latest from the Solution.
We're using VS 2005 with the VS 2005 plug-in and using Vault version 4.0.4.15848 for client and server.
Thanks,
Matt Knowles

Trouble with Deleted Files
I deleted two files from Visual Studio, and now I can't find those files in the Deleted Items tab on the Folder Properties, and I don't see them under Obliterate. I need to be able to look at them.
