Re: How to roll back to a label/date?

I'm actually really surprised this hasn't been in since version 1????? It would seem to me that rolling back to a particular point in time is one of the primary features of source control? Am I missing something here?

I manually extracted the com.cdesg.core_1.0.0.16216 as you requested, but no change. I then did the same for the other jar files contained in the downloaded plugins folder - and that fixed the problem. I know it's a "sledge hammer" approach, and the end result is that we don't know what wa...

Vault or Fortress? What version of the plugin and what version of the server? What version of eclipse? Could you also check the eclipse error log, you'll find it here: <workspace>/.metadata/.log, and either post the contents or email them to me at shannon at sourcegear dot com. Thanks. Plugin Versi...

Re: Install problems with Eclipse plugin

In installed the eclipse plugin, and it seems to be registered correctly within Eclipse. I'm using Eclipse 3.3.0. If I do File > Import > Project from Vault and click next, I get this error: The selected wizard could not be started. Plug-in "com.sourcegear.vault.team" was unable to instan...

My first suggestion would be to use the word "enhanced" to indicate the VSIP client, and "standard" to indicate the MSSCCI one. Example: SourceGear Standard Client SourceGear Enhanced Client ...but, that might encourage people to use the standard (compatible) one. My next suggest...

VSIP Client Availability?

Any date on the release of the 2008 VSIP client? I certainly hope that at the latest we're talking the same day as VS2008 releases? I've committed our team to using SourceGear Vault, and while we typically don't use 3rd party products, I was thoroughly impressed enough with this one to convince ever...

We've had to do this as well. We're attempting trial upgrades from 2005 to 2008, but get nothing but errors if we leave the solution bound via the 2005 client. As a result, we've had to revert to unbinding from the 2005 client, then rebinding using the the 2003 client - then the upgrade works. I can...

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

We've just started using Vault (4.0.4). We have 2 repositories, and one contains the majority of our code. Both have worked fine up until this point, but now the primary one won't let me open it with the client - it just returns "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." The s...

Wow, the solution to this really would have helped. You might want to post it?
