Re: Shelve Silently failing
Ah,
looks like this should be fixed in v10.0.1, i'll see if we are able to install that and try again.

Shelve Silently failing
V10.0.0 We are having problems with the shelve, if a user attempts to shelve a file or files it appears to work, but the shelve set is not in the list when the user looks to unshelve the files. Looking in the log we see entries like this: ----04/12/2017 08:49:19 i.gray--desktop39.paragon.pgn(192.168...

Re: Intermittent get failures V10
With lots of help from Beth and after lots of tests, we have discovered that we were experiencing two different problems, the get failures during our build process were being caused by the System Watcher component of Kaspersky Endpoint Security V10. With this enabled the get of the code was failing ...

Re: Intermittent get failures V10
Hi Beth, we have been running with the logging turned on for a few days now, unfortunately we have been unable to recreate the original issue, we are seeing a different issue. :( Now when the process runs to retrieve the files to build the code some files fail to download and the build fails. In one...

Re: Intermittent get failures V10
I have enabled logging as per the linked article, and zipped the existing log files so new clean ones will be created when the build process runs tonight.

Re: Intermittent get failures V10
The command line log (VaultCLC.txt) contains lots of instances of this: 21/04/2017 19:02:31 <generic>: [System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at VaultClientOperationsLib.ClientInstance.IsCheckedOutByMeOnThisMachine(VaultClientFile file, VaultClientCheck...

Intermittent get failures V10
Hi, We have just upgraded to V10.0.0 and are now getting intermitent get failures in our nightly build process: We have a script that uses the cmd line client to retrive the latest code before building it overnight. We have now had several instances for the get failing with errors like this: <vault>...

Re: The specified path, file name, or both are too long
Hi, Thanks for the reply, unfortunately that doesn't really help, we don't want to micro manage each project to force it lower in the folder structure and we need a sensible way to organize things anyway. Our repository structure looks like this: $¬-Branches¬-V1--Source¬-Bin | | |-Server¬-Common¬-Co...

The specified path, file name, or both are too long
Hi Some of our users are getting the error "The specified path, file name, or both are too long." when getting our code out, as far as we can tell none of our files should produce a path longer than the 248 character limit but we are still getting this error. Unfortunately the error does n...

Rename Bug
Hi one of my users is reporting a problem with the way vault handles file renames, others including myself have had issues similar issues in the past but have been unable to narrow the process for repeating it down. OK. This is what I think happens – I’m not sure all these steps are necessary to rep...

Re: integration of Madcap Flare project into Vault
Hi, Madcap have just released a new version of flare with many changes to Source Code Control integration however there doesn't seem to be a fix for integration with Vault, do you have any news on getting Flare to work with vault? http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare11/Content/Introduction_Topics...

Geting Files goes into loop
Hi, We are using Vault Pro 7.1 on Windows server 2012 with a SQLServer2008r2 back-end, we have a problem with a build server we are trying to create, the build 'server' is a Windows 7 vm hosted on a Windows server 2012 server. Our Old Xp stand alone build server works fine, as does the developers ma...
