Jeff, it's embarrassing to admit but you're right! I didn't for some reason realize I was selecting a folder.

Hi, there must be someone else that already have answered this problem. I really love DiffMerge, the only thing that drives me crazy is that sometimes I need to do a diff between files in OS X that are in SVN and the source files have permission 644, i.e. -rw-r--r--.
