You're right, avonwyss. Clearing the cache (located here: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client) has solved my problem.

Thanks for the reply Beth, what I tried to do in the meantime was upgrade from 3.5 to 4, and it seems to be connecting to the database now, the only problem is my current 3.5 license code isn't allowing any users to connect, I have upgraded but the version 4 license isn't appearing in my CSP - does ...
