Re: Serious Vault issues re. Shared and VS2015 plugin
OK, thanks. Not ideal but it does work. Two final questions.
1. Any ETA on these bug fixes?
2. Is Vault a product that you going to be sun-setting?

Re: Serious Vault issues re. Shared and VS2015 plugin
We tried the workaround of changing the Concurrent Development Style from VSS to CVS mode and it doesn't work. Same issue. Anything else we can try?

Re: Serious Vault issues re. Shared and VS2015 plugin
Are these bugs fixed yet? We are encountering the same thing. Nuget packages that are modifying the files outside of vault so they become renegade. I was trying to understand the last post...is that a potential workaround? Are you saying to change the "Concurrent Development Style" in vaul...

Re: Is there a TimeOut Setting? v5.0.3
The default of 2 minutes.
Visual Studio locks up every time we try to check in or undo check out. More info. The issue appears to only happen when the user is connected via VPN from home. When he is in the office, the issue doesn't occur.

Re: Is there a TimeOut Setting? v5.0.3
The Timeout Idel Connections was not set.
So we tried the Keep Alive setting on the client and it only seemed to make it worse. Any other suggestions?
Thank you.

Is there a TimeOut Setting? v5.0.3
Is there some kind of a timeout setting for Source Offsite. It seems that I lose my connection to SourceOffsite when I try to check out a file that has been loaded into Visual Studio for quite some time (several hours) I frequently get prompted, after a delay, with “Do you want to reconnect to the s...

SSMS - Plug-In cuased an exception or reported a fatal error
We use SourceOffsite 5.0.3 with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) and have been for years. We are using SQL Server 2008 R2. There is a solution that we attempt to open from Source Control and we get the following error. IntegrationError.jpg We are hoping that you could identify the cause of this. ...

Re: Able to Remove a Label
I understand that it can be done in VSS. I was wondering if it was possible to do in SourceOffsite. Can you confirm that it can't be done is SOS?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Able to Remove a Label
I know you can do it in Vault but was wondering if it is possible to remove a label that we added by mistake? We are using version 5.0.3. If not, is there any workaround?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: SOS hangs waiting for SSMS (5.0.3)
Hi Linda -
My developer says that you were able to resolve his issue but wasn't certain exactly what was done to resolve it. Can you provide me the steps so myself and others can benefit from this? Thank you.

Re: SOS hangs waiting for SSMS (5.0.3)
I found that opening a solution with 180 files took about 45 seconds when opening from Source Control, compared to just 3 -4 seconds when opening the project from disk. I didn't experience a hang, though. How many files are in the SQL project of your user? [Developer] ~150, although I’ve reproduced...

Re: SOS hangs waiting for SSMS (5.0.3)
In SSMS:
1. File
2. Source Control
3. Open from Source Control
4. From the dialog box I navigate to the Solution, select it and click OK.

Re: SOS hangs waiting for SSMS (5.0.3)
He is opening SOS through SSMS.
No, the client is not using a lot of CPU or RAM on the machine when it hangs.
The sosgui-log.txt file from the user's machine is attached. Let me know if there is anything helpful in there. You would know better than I. Thanks.
