It's been a decade.
Literally, a decade.
Any plans on this?

Re: Add Files taking forever
Found the cmd client (never used it). The built in help isn't very useful so i'm having to guess at the parameters. I can get it to connect with "Vault -host blah -user blah -password blah LISTWORKINGFOLDERS but it asks for repository, and no variation of adding the repository name next, or the...

Re: Add Files taking forever
Not all of us, but more than one of us have noticed it. We do not use network locations for local folders. All are local folders, on brand new machines with SSD drives. I've checked while it's "not responding" and there's very little CPU or disk or IO use in task manager. And no, we do not...

Add Files taking forever
Using Vault Standard 10.0.1, GUI client Right clicking a folder and selecting Add Files/Folders basically takes a minute or several minutes to come up. Sometimes in 30 secs, sometimes after about 5 mins. In the meantime, Windows 10 thinks it is not responding. Drive activity is very low. What can be...

Re: Moving projects between repositories
There are some obliterates on the top folder ($) but none on the particular project this is still in. Does this mean there is no way to do exports? Why even offer the obliterate feature if it kills all ability to migrate projects in the future? I've waited for years to see the promised "purge h...

Moving projects between repositories
The vault import / export on a recent project fails moving between repositories. The export is fine without errors. The import fails. There are no obliterated items that I can see in the history of the source repository. I've tried multiple times, with and without some of the checkboxes. Does Source...

Re: Purge old file versions
You can add mine as well. I would rather delete code > x years old and keep the database lean if possible. Can't find any way of doing it without spending the time to dive into the DB structure.
thanks

Okay, things better - a full reinstall with repair of the server has fixed the subitems. Able to go through and clean up permissions. Would be nice if they carried over their past explicit permissions first before inheriting from the default permissions for the repository. Also, would probably be ea...

Upgrade to 4.1.1 less than stellar
Happily been with 3.5 for a year or two. Upgraded to 4.1.1. Insttallation is not what I would call robust. I had even tested this with a virtual server and our old 3.5 server & database and it went fine. On production machine, however: 1) my admin account was told it wasnt an admin. 2) my other ...
