Re: SourceGear Application Data folder is 782MB

This folder contains all the baselines of the files you've retrieved while using Vault. Here's more information about how to handle the growing folder size. http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=927 Wow! Quick reply. Thank-you! The article helped me resolve my situation. Since I have to e-m...

SourceGear Application Data folder is 782MB

I've notice the following folder has 782Megs of space in it:
C:\Documents and Settings\...\Local Settings\Application Data\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client

Is there a way to clean this folder out?

VS2003 not seeing Vault 4.1.0 as default source provider

We have a machine that only has visual studio 2003 as an IDE. After installing the latest version of Vault, it no longer recognizes Vault as the default Source Provider. In fact, it doesn't even see vault at all. We have tried two methods: Method 1: 1. Uninstall of existing vault client 2. Install o...

VS2005 not compatible with Vault 2.x, correct?

Hey Guys,

I want to verify that this post means that any previous version of Vault (specifically 2.x) is NOT compatible with VS2005.

If we want to use Vault with VS2005, we need to upgrade to 3.x.

Correct?

Hi. Just wanted to post that we did get this fixed yesterday (would've tried to fix it sooner but had some deadlines to meet :) ) I say "we", but what I really mean is another developer in our department. He went through a lot of steps trying to fix so he can't remember everything. However...

Well this is interesting: When I open the vault client after I open the "non-working solution", the status of each file in the project shows up as "missing". When I open the vault client after I open the "good solution", the status is blank (in other words, Vault sees t...

Additional info

Ignore the fact that Installshield is involved. I can simplify the solution to just two projects and the same result occurs. See attachment.
The properties on the project files match. They are both marked as read-only.
Does this help clarify?

Referencing projects in a local solution causing problems

We have a DOT NET solution consisting of 11 development projects. I am the developer in charge of building the install. Since no one else has InstallShield Developer, I've decided to start with a new solution (my own, local solution) and add the InstallShield project (along with the rest of the proj...

One final note: After a reboot, adsubtract would deselect the Bypass Proxy option. So, I did what Jeremy had mentioned earlier: added the IP address and machinename to the "bypass list" that's located here: Tools/Internet Options/Connections/Lan Settings/Advanced There's a textbox at the b...

Hi Jeremy, I assume you mean: <proxy usesystemdefault="false" proxyaddress="http://bogus:bogus" bypassonlocal="false"/> b/c I get a "file not well formed" error if I try to save the other way. First made the change in Vault Client config file and tested: didn'...

Problem still exists

If you want to tell Vault to not go through adsubtract, then you'll need that setting to be false LOL. I can just see your eyes rolling up  as you read that message. It had a minor typo. The setting actually is <proxy usesystemdefault="false"/> in both machine.config AND--since your...

ADSubtract strikes again after upgrade

Hi Guys, We purchased Source Vault today and upgraded to 2.0.1. Everything works well except for my client box. Remeber the article here**: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=135 I haven't changed my machine.config since the upgrade. It still says <proxy usesystemdefault="true"/...
