Re: Command-line clients

Thanks Beth... Yes, all the DLLs from the ClientAPI archive are present. I ran the mono migration analyzer on the binaries and there were a few methods in use that are not supported. I'll try attaching the report output. (I couldn't attach the MHT file, so I renamed it .TXT.... rename it back to view)

Re: Command-line clients

I'm getting an error when trying to execute vault.exe from the ClientAPI archive: mono --version Mono JIT compiler version 2.10.5 (Debian 2.10.5-1) Copyright (C) 2002-2011 Novell, Inc, Xamarin, Inc and Contributors. http://www.mono-project.com TLS: __thread SIGSEGV: altstack Notifications: epoll Arc...

Re: Command-line clients

I ran the .NET Vault command-line client and the Java command-line client on the same WinXP machine. I first noticed the time delay while using the Java command-line client on a different machine running the latest Ubuntu. I did not try running the .NET client under .mono, is that pretty straight fo...

Command-line clients

Vault v5.1.2 Performing a GETVERSION of one specific file to a non-working folder using the command-line client takes about 11 seconds. Performing the same GETVERSION of the same specific file to the same non-working folder using the JAVA command-line client takes about 2.5 minutes. Repeatably. Usin...

Re: diff issue

I understand what you are saying, but I'm confused as to why this is working in 4.1.4 (or is this a known issue for 5.x only?) and why is it working if I highlight the tip (most recent revision) and the previous revision and then select diff and it displays the diff viewer as expected. (as opposed t...

Re: diff issue

Hello Linda, We have just begun testing, so far this is the only issue we've come across. Yes, I restored the 4.1.4 database to a new SQL server before installing the 5.1.1 server. The schema version is 5.1.0.0 according to the SQL query. I deleted all of the client side cache but the issue persists.

diff issue

I've run into a weird issue while evaluating a test upgrade of our 4.1.4 server to a 64bit server and 5.1.1. Everything went smooth, painless and quick during the install, but when I attempt to perform a diff on a file from a branch (unmodified from branch source in my case) from the history explore...

Re: Feature Request: Support for Review Board

Just curious if there are any updates to this... Has anyone implemented a post-review supporting Vault?

While attempting to correct another issue we were having (we couldn't display the properties of two of our largest repositories in the admin interface, SQL would timeout at one hour) we restarted the Vault and the SQL servers and now both our issues are "resolved".

un-representable DateTime

Server: 4.0.5.15922
Client: 4.0.5.15922

When attempting to display the properties of a subfolder (only one specific folder) we are getting (at all clients) an error:

An error has occurred. The error message is:

Hour, Minute, and Second parameters decribe an un-representable DateTime.

I'm not sure about increasing memory size... as I said, it always threw the out of memory exception when that process was between 900MB and 1GB. The server has 4GB and SQL is using ~2GB.

No, we are only using one repository (~55 - 60GB).

The grayed-out vaules were 500MB for virtual memory, and something around 170ishMB for used memory. I already enabled recycling for used memory last night and set it to 800MB as it always seemed to blow it's mind over 900MB. It recycled twice that night, but not yet today.

Jeff, I can't find the memory tab... the closest I see in the app pool is the setting for memory recycling.. is this what you are referring to?
If so, both the options in that section (max virtual and max used) are disabled.
