That was it. We both had "Use the default proxy" selected but his said Disconnected and mine says None specified. When I changed his to Do no use a proxy, it worked.

Thanks Linda. That got it done. It wasn't all roses. Had some trouble with the installs and had to uninstall and re-install a few times. Cleaning out Fortress seemed to be the problem. Now all I need to do is get my status squared around. I have a project that was not checked in before I did this.

How can I move from my current Fortress 1.0.5 installation to Vault Standard? I tried installing Vault Standard Server 1.0.6. I uninstalled Fortress first. During installation I got the message "Can't install Vault if a Vault Professional database exists."

I was hoping not to have to install another client and use another license just to get email notifications. Is that possible?

It would be great if there were an option to either ignore nulls (and other invalid Unicode characters) or convert them to spaces. Could you add this to a wish list? We're going to try to round up an older version of the program and see if we can plug it in to get by for now.
