Connect to Vault 5.x server from Vault 6.x client
Hi,
Is it possible to connect somehow to a Vault 5.x server via a Vault 6.x client, or to have both a 6.x and a 5.x client installed on the same machine (The default installer doesn't allow it)
Best regards,
Hans Olav Nymand

Yes, restarting the server resolves the problem for 2-3 days, then it's back.

Re: SqlException Timeout expired
OK, I've attached a reduced version of the sgvault.log. Please note that this bulltin board does not allow files with extension .log and no larger than 2MB - a little silly when having to upload a log. The users experience problems like this: [30-07-2012 12:04:29,55] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sou...

Re: fk_tbltransactiondetails_itemobjverid_tblfsobjectversion
I can describe what happened. I moved two folders to another location - same new parent folder for both. When I tried to move a 3rd folder to that same destination it failed. This generated the following sequence of errors in the log - some are from repeatedly trying the same move before I realized ...

2 Vault servers on same repository
Hi, We have a need that some of our customers can access our Vault server (by having individual Vault usernames on that server of course). However it is not an option for us to give those customers VPN access to our network, and we don't want to make our "normal" Vault server available on ...

Re: Error creating reference copy for: Work. It claimed to
Hi Linda, Yes, this was - as you said - a "server cache inconsistency". iisreset on the server fixed the problem! The most likely explanation is that this morning the database log had run full (due to missing backup and hence missing log truncation). We fixed the problem on the database, b...

Re: Error creating reference copy for: Work. It claimed to
The first time I got the error was when I was attempting a check--in of 7 files from Visual Studio 2010. Later the error also occured during check-in from the Vault Client or during deletion of files from the Vault Client.
Have sent the log-file.

Hans Olav Nymand
