Re: Labeling and Branching (performance)
Hi Tonya, Yes, maybe it is not related to label promotion, but the problem appears in relation to setting labels and the problem did not exist until some major version was released - either Vault 7.0 or vault 8.0. So something was changed in the way labels are handled internally with one of those ve...

Re: A bad day with the Vault server
Hi Tonya,
I've sent the logfiles.
We've also determined that at least part of the problem was a long-lived database lock taken by the
stored procedure sgVault.dbo.ufngetusersecurityrights.
Best regards,
Hans Olav

Various problems this weekend
Hi, This weekend, starting Friday 10., we had some issues with our Vault 10.0 server. We restart the IIS every evening around 23:30 which generally works well, and we did so also Thursday 9th without any problems and the Vault service worked fine after the restart. However shortly after, at the 10th...

StackTrace: at VaultServiceBase.VaultLogManager.LogExcept
Hello, On average once a week - but really at random times - we get this error in the event log and the IIS restarts the Vault server application. Log Name: Application Source: ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0 Date: 25-07-2018 11:02:24 Event ID: 1325 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A C...

Re: Vault Performance / Hardware
Does the "Request database delta on repository cache miss" option in the UI also apply to the command line client (on the same machine)

Vault for Visual Studio Code
Hi,
I could find nothing about it on the website - maybe I didn't look hard enough?
But, is there, or will there be, an extension for Visual Studio Code ? Or does the extension for Visual Studio 2017 work also for Visual Studio Code ?
Best regards,
Hans Olav Nymand

Hi Beth,
Thank you for the answer, which I received only now some 9 hours after you sent it – maybe your mailserver and/or ours are simply overloaded.
I’ll look into the problems you described.
Best regards,
Hans Olav

Re: System.InvalidOperationException: This SqlTransaction ha
If you did send the mail already there's something very wrong somewhere - because I haven't received it.
If it doesn't arrive later today I suggest we use FTP.
Regards,
Hans Olav

Re: System.InvalidOperationException: This SqlTransaction ha
OK, just sent it again with subject:
Att: Beth - RE: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22085
There is no attachment, I just pasted part of the log directly in the mail - which is 1MB size.
FTP would be no problem...
Best regards,
Hans Olav
