IDE Client

Does the IDE client perform this version check as well? We have one developer that is using a corporate configured computer and he has issues communicating with our vault server. The rest of the developers use non-corporate configured computers and they communicate with the server just fine. We're u...

Hmm, 26 views so far and not a single reply :( I guess I'm the only person to ever have this issue. Fortunately I haven't had any more problems so I guess it was just a one time thing.

Closed Connection Issue

I'm pretty sure this is a one-time problem but I thought I'd post a message here and see if anyone knows what may have caused it. We use Dragnet to store feedback from the web sites we host. We do this using the addItemExternal method of the web service. Yesterday I received the error below. Our ser...

Linda,

Could you folks please publish a similar KB article, with SQL commands, for optimizing our sgdragnet datbase. I just ran all of the scripts for our vault database and has seemed to perk things up quite a bit :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, Linda. If it can be done faster a simple report page that an external user could access would work for my needs.

Management Access

Perhaps this is already built into Dragnet and I just haven't found it yet :), but is there anyway to give a user read-only or some sort of report we can generate to show management where we stand on items in Dragnet? On one of our project we have a guy doing testing on stuff that does not have an a...

I do my upgrades on the weekends or during times when I know that nobody will be using Vault. It usually takes less than 5 minutes for me to upgrade the server. I suppose you could stop just the default web site instead of shutting down all of IIS before doing the upgrade.

I guess I'm so used to jumping from project to project that I didn't think about looking at things from a server-wide view. The stuff available at this level will work just fine for me. Thanks!

Feature Request - My Open for all projects

A couple of quick feature requests. I would like to have a My Open report that spans all projects in Dragnet. Along those same lines a report showing all open, grouped by assignee, across all projects would be nice to have for a weekly manpower meeting we have. We have come to rely on Dragnet so muc...

Feature Request - Status on Add Page

When adding a new item in Dragnet it would be nice to be able to select a status when adding that item. I'm currently adding items to Dragnet for tasks that we will need to complete on a project we're just getting stated. Because these tasks need to be approved by the software review board before we...

I've found a way to not necessarily reproduce the exact error but a way to consistently produce an error. On the ShowItem.aspx page simply scroll down to the bottom of the page where you would add a comment and click on the submit button without entering anything. The page is posted back to the serv...

I believe the error was something along the lines of The Input was Invalid. I didn't write it down, sorry :(

Possible Bug

Greetings, I can't seem to reproduce the exact steps to make the bug happen again but I wanted to call something to your attention. This morning I was editing some existing comments and ended up on the error.aspx page. Here's what I think the problem may be. I was on a page and the url was ShowItem....
