I can see this dialog appearing if comments are required but I don't have the option selected. There is no option to hide this dialog listed under the Command Dialogs settings in the ...

4.0.6 to 4.1.0 upgrade issue
Just an FYI: Running Vault in the single license mode on my desktop (both client and server). Running XP with SQL 2005 (Dev Edition). Using only VS2008. I had 4.0.6 and attempted to install the 4.1.0 server. Was asked to locate the 4.0.6 MSI which I did and then received error code 2753. (I believe ...

Import Repositories
Is there a method to import a repository from one server/database into a secondary server/database. I have two servers running Vault and want to consolidate them.

Integrated Security
I believe that the Vault client can be run in such a way that users are authenticated against Active Directory by setting the AD Domain for Authentication on the Advanced Server Settings page but it looks like the user still has to enter their domain password assuming a matching domain username. Is ...

Server Sizing / User Load
I know it is a very vague and subjective question but any general recommendations on server sizing? We are looking to support 20-30 developers. Guessing our individual developers fall into the lighter weight side of things so please no CYA, you need a Dual CPU Quad-Core 64-bit with a SAN and you sho...

MSSCCI Client to VS2005 Client
I ran this utility and it works fine, but we have a few solutions / projects under source control that are being worked on by a large number of people. Can different people use different flavors of the client (MSSCCI vs VS2005 Clinet)? I guess it comes down to whether the binding information is stor...

Relationship Between Fortress and Vault
I am a bit confused about the relationship between Vault and Fortress. I realize that on the server side of things, Fortress is a superset of Vault, but I am confused on the client side. I do work for a client that is currently running Vault 4.x and has a lisense for me. On my down desktop, I run Va...
