Hello,

I'm very sorry, I had checked once again but was wrong. I however had double-checked before sending the mail, but I think I didn't pay enough attention to the edit content...

I apologize for this

SSAPI version

Hello,

the vssapi.dll version is 6.0.92.38.
The labels are also truncated on the VSS database, it's not a display issue of source offsite.

Best regards

Info

I can't have the VSS version yet, however:
- SOS 4.1.2
- I applied the label on a project
- I saw the truncated name on the project history

The error occur only when you enter as many characters as you can in the label edit box.

Creating a branch

Hello,

is there a way to create a project branch from SOS ? I mean having for example a new project that is Release 1 with all files pinned to a specific date/label and the main project being the same.

Thanks

Label truncated

Hello,

the label box allows one more character than it should. I don't know if it's a sourcesafe issue or sourcegear, but if you fill the label name edit control then the last character is removed from the label name.

Hello,

I'm always connected with both SOS and .net; and most of the time using the same project in both applications.

"unable to make file read-only"

Hello, I was about to post a bug report about this error as I frequently have the same issue. I'm working all the time with both .Net and Sourcegear opened. You can't do everything from .net. I often search for old files from sourcegear while working in .net, then go back to SG to do a get latest on...

Hello, the server is v4.0.2.151, the vssapi.dll is 6.0.92.38, the log.txt is attached, but there is only one log file, and it only has entries for today. There are strane errors though... It seems to be VSS6.0C. What should we do ? Upgrade to 6.0d ? patch the 6.0C (I saw you recommended some on othe...
