Feature Request: Adding solution XXXX to Vault/Fortress

Just a little feature request for the VS-integrate d client... It would be cool if we saw some sort of progress bar or progress updates in this dialog instead of just static text... Right now I am waiting for a solution with about 24 MB of content to be added to Fortress, and it's just a guess as to...

Works at my place... I'm not intending to invalidate what you say, but rather that it does work at some places at least... I wish I could suggest somethign to try, though...

EDIT: Ah SG beat me to it... good :)

I installed 4.0.3 (actually Fortress 1.0.3) as soon as it came out yesterday. All in all it looks like a major improvement over x.0.2, but it's been less than a day...

Tom, I agree on all your points.

I am sure SourceGear is discussing all this right now... Experimental VS2008 -compatible versions with little or no support sounds a whole lot better than no VS2008 compatible version at all (or any other new technology).

Tom, don't be so hard on SourceGear, they do have a good track record of being very good with updates and support (I have been licensed since Vault 1.0, I think). I understand them from a certain point of view, MS can change an API on a moment's notice and then that will break whatever SG has releas...

It'd be cool to know what the official plan is when it comes to supporting new technologies. I remember it took some time to get Vista support in Vault after Vista was released, even though the Vista release could have hardly been a surprise. Is it SourceGear's official position that you will not ev...

I don't think Vault/Fortress has the notion of a changeset implemented... It's on the list of feature requests, though, so one more vote would be nice :) I'm putting off undoing what would have been a changeset, but finding out which check-ins belong to the "change set" is kind of a pain r...

I've gotten this to work with the 2005 provider (Fortress/Vault 4.02 version), but I've had to do some wierd steps. This is only a problem when you "Open From Fortress/Vault" for the first time. Once your projects are on the working directory there are no further problems. Here are the ste...

Please add one more vote.. There is no better way to know what's going on than by seeing the changesets that came it, and then is someone screwed up, undoing all the changes in one click...

This has been discussed before (I don't say this to chastise you, just so you know that searching the forums would give you some answers)... I think the best solution is to upgrade to VS2005 SP1 (this patch supposedly fixes this problem), or you could also convert your project from "Web Site&qu...

Well, SourceGear has never stated that they could either reproduce the error, or if there is a fix anywhere in sight, so hopefully they will look at it sometime soon :)

I got bit by this... For some reason the Fortress client put itself in offline mode (or I did it by mistake), so right click on the solution and make sure that the menu option says "Offline" (which implies you are online currently). If that still does not solve it, see this thread, maybe i...
