Sorry, you are correct. It does not work with SOS!

But it could have been very useful!

Sending your SourceOffSite log file (log.txt) would be helpful. It's located on the machine where the SOS server resides.

Hello! Thanks for the details. I have some additional questions for you. What version of Vault are you using? What version of Visual Studio are you using? How are you opening the solution? (ex. File - Open) Are any of the projects web projects? A suggestion that I have for you is to clear out your w...

Could you find out if you have a devenv.exe.config file in more then one location? One should exist where Vault is installed, most likely in C:\Program Files\SourceGear\Vault Client. If one exists in your Visual Studio directory could you rename it? If this doesn't resolve the problem, please e-mail...

You are correct, you should be able to perform a recursive "get latest" and obtain the new project without opening it from source control every time. I have attempted to reproduce the error message that you are receiving without any luck. Could you tell me if the project added was a web pr...

Would you mind to provide more details? Are you attempting to check out a project that has been locally modified? Can you elaborate in regards to ProductGuid?

Thanks,

Try the "Add solution to source control" functionality instead of the change source control. Since this is a new file, changing source control and binding the file isn't necessary.

Hello,

You stated that you are attempting to bind a new project to an existing VSS Folder. What are the steps that you are taking to bind the new project? Is this a web project?

Thanks,

After you retrieve a local copy of the item, you do not need to open it from source control again. You can proceed to use the source c...
