There should be an error if the Vault Server can't be contacted. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the client to give up. If you wait several minutes, does the client still hang?

Are you logging into the same repository each time?

We'd like to see a copy of the Vault Server log. It's in C:\Windows\Temp\sgvault on the Vault Server machine.

Did something change on your machine?

What operating system is SOS installed on? Is it 64- or 32-bit.

Folder Export Import still imports all history.

I've logged feature request 17506 to import only the "tip" version of a folder, but include shares, branches, etc.

If you're moving Vault to a new server, all the databases should be in place in SQL Server before you install Vault. I looked into this and it appears to be a known issue. If you create a new work item add time estimate with a decimal in it, you get the error. We've updated this in Vault 7 to tell you a decimal is not valid. Try using a smaller unit of time instead of a decimal. For example, instead of 1.5 work da...

How long has the problem been going on?

What operating system is Vault 4.1.4 on?

We'd like to see more of the Vault Server log, perhaps from the last few days.
