Vault License Question

We recently upgraded all of our Vault licenses to the latest version. The Sourcegear Customer Service Portal shows 50 licenses, which is correct. But the Vault Admin Tool (version 3.5, we haven't done the upgrade yet) shows 95 licenses. Is this because the admin tool is looking at both the version 3...

Thanks! I actually thought I had the 4.1 API installed, but now that I look at it I see that it's the 4.0.4 version.

VaultClientIntegrationLib?

Your examples reference a VaultClientIntegrationLib. Where does this come from? It doesn't appear to get installed by the Vault Client API.

Ok, cool. Thanks for the response. I keep checking each new release to see if this has been implemented, because once it is I will be jumping for joy. :) If you don't mind me asking, do you suppose this maintenance release might be available within the year? Not that I'm expecting a solid commitment...

Hello again. Just wanted to check on this again. I just gave Vault version 4.1 a whirl and noticed that branching still updates file modification dates. I also noticed that the version 3.5.3 of the Vault API has added a bool branchWithOrigModTime parameter to it's ChangeSetItem_CopyBranch object, th...

Just finished updating to 3.5.3, and that does appear to have fixed the problem. I guess there's something to be said for installing updates from time to time. :)

Thanks for the help!

I also notice that if I try to move that folder, I get a slightly different error: Item $/Releases/ActiveLink Process Release 3/ActiveLink Download Processes/ActiveStaffer/Sub Releases/Release 1/Builds/Build 19 caused the transaction to fail: The source object path is not found in the tree. Error pinning or deleting folder in Vault

Yesterday I tried pinning a folder and got this error: Item $/Releases/ActiveLink Process Release 3/ActiveLink Download Processes/ActiveStaffer/Sub Releases/Release 1/Builds/Build 19 caused the transaction to fail: The object could not be found. It may have been deleted, moved or renamed. I tried de...

Well, just an FYI, we've got lots of stuff waiting to be converted from VSS to Vault, and this issue is currently presenting a roadblock to doing so, because we can't have the file dates changing on a branch. The problem is that when we go to create a build, we branch all of our code into the new bu...

I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out yet, but another minor bug I've found is when you go to the Deleted Items tab in the Folder Properties dialog, the list shows items in an Icon display mode rather than the Details display mode like it used to. Looks kinda silly that way.

Branching & File Modification Dates

The issue is Vault changing the file modification date to the branch date when the file is branched.
