Of course !
It really would help to create hisotry file and help find if a bug fix is present in a given version. And also if a label has been set (I always have to check on the other history, because developers often forget them).
Looking forward to it !

Re: Backup window never closes
We have not been able to reproduce this. It may be something specific to your configuration. What version of Fortress are you using, what OS is the Fortress server installed on, and what version of SQL Server are you using? =>5.0.1, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2005sp3 Are you using Windows authe...

Labels missing from history
Hello
when I make a history using revisions (this is great to create an history file and quickly look for a specific fix), the labels are missing.
How can I have them displayed ?
Thanks

WebDAv & flash
Hello I don't know webdav except I've understood it could help archiving flash (CS4) files in our vault server ? Am I right, it's not easy to find the right plug-in as I don't really understand how it might work. Could you help us spare some time ? The same for a Web server written with Linux. I gue...

Re: Backup window never closes
OK the backup is good. Do you reproduce the bug ? Can you fix it ? It would be really comforting and faster for a backup operation ! The backup is dated september 2, 19:06, where the two smallest file are dated the same time (master, dragnet). The vault is 4 minutes later(19:10). No errors, beside a ...

I don't really mind about the window. It's mainly that I do not know how to check it and it would be easier to have it close than using another tool...

Automatic status change
Hello it might be useful to either: - prevent to add a comment on a closed item - automaticaly revert its status to open when a comment is added when a user makes a comment on a closed item it certainly is because the bug has been reproduced. I think at least a warning should be sent, or the change ...

Re: cannot set security
No more exception: good
But the missing progress information is still an issue, I never am sure that I see the security of the right project; as I don't know if it's being loaded or OK.

Re: cannot set security
Hello Linda, at last we've come to something acceptable: 15s for a "rather large project" :D Then my last concern is that there is nothing telling you that the server is working (just like when you load a new page). You just can't be sure if you have clicked on the 'assign' or not; or if t...

Re: cannot set security
Hello we use Vault 5.0. I'm rebuilding indexes, defragmenting, deleting... Meanwhile: 1. what should be the order of those operations => Deletes I guess (projects, labels, ...) => But for DB checks, index rebuild, compact, ... ?? => Disk defrag last I guess (RAID-5) The DB went from 3.5GB to 2.1 GB....

Re: cannot set security
Any news ?
This still is a real issue for us. It's so slow we cannot use it (the startup time is OK now)
Just like clouds, security is a major feature of your software and none works well here

Some ideas
Still nothing atfer 2 hours. Some ideas that came: 1. I compared with Windows security and thought that may be you take files into account ? However the rights are only applied on project (1500 instead of 8500). I don't know the structure of your database, but shares should'nt have impact on rights....
