We've got this exact problem on an XP SP2 machine. The user is an administrator and the aforementioned files are present when the error message appears. The problem occurs with both the 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 installers. Vault_client_install.log reads as follows:- Log started at 2 Jul 2008 - 09.54.36 Loadi...

More fun with labels
We're in the process of finalizing a release for our product, which is now version-controlled by Vault. When we think the code is "good to go", we apply a label. It then goes to the testing team - if they find bugs which need to be fixed then changes are made & we use "Label Promo...

Ah ok thanks, that makes sense (re the security). We're running 4.1.1 atm, soon to transition to 4.1.2. Log file is attached - It starts on firing up Vault, which opens in the worst-performing directory. Once that was done, I brought another application to the front and then switched back to Vault. ...

Sorry to awaken an old thread - better than starting a new one though. We've now rolled out Vault to approx 20 developers, some accessing it remotely from half a continent away, and most are extremely happy. A couple of users have performance issues, and for one person its severe - enough to make Va...

Re: What trunk version the branch was derived from?
I cannot find any reference to the point in trunk history, from where the branch was derived and in branch history too. Would it be possible to display in the trunk's history ("trunk" being the folder that the branch was created from) a record showing where branches were created? Even bet...

Feature Request - History and Edit from Search Results
I apologise if this has been requested already (I couldn't see it in a quick forum search). We use Search a lot, as we have thousands of files in the repository, with many of them unfortunately in the one directory. Vault doesn't seem to provide a way of accessing File History or the Edit/View actio...

To confirm what Rob said - the sample plugin worked before we installed 4.1.0. After installing it, it no longer works. To be precise, it was intercepting the OnEndTx event properly, but execution terminates when it hits ServerOperations.Login(). The login details we're using are correct - the fault...

Renegade - False Positives
Using 4.1.0. We have a vault repository, into which we're loading successive versions of files from our old PVCS repo. When we do an extract from PVCS into the Vault working directory, some files (by no means all!) are being marked as renegade even though they haven't changed. Their timestamp is the...

I'm not sure where you've getting the 62 second figure from. In the log file, I started opening project at 8.48.03am. Visual Studio remained in a busy state until 8.59.50am (line 17124 in the logfile). It may have taken 62 seconds to load all the subprojects, but what was it doing the rest of the ti...
