We've had a few reports of this but have never been able to reliably reproduce this in-house.

You should be able to manually type in the correct drive letters.

We've made some changes in how this dialog is generated, and this is most likely fixed in SOS 4.0.

The errors you report indicate Vault did not install properly. I would suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling. Is there any information in the SOS Server log file that might be helpful? It's the log.txt file in the SOS Server directory.
