Thanks for the feedback.
I know this is cross platform but it would be nice if it felt more like Windows app on windows - the toolbar at the top and the tabs at the bottom. i'm not sure what i'd do differently. i initially had the tabs at the top and it looked cluttered with the menu, toolbar buttons, tabs, and file panel ...

both versions of DiffMerge (aka sgdm) have same usage.
Both versions of DiffMerge (the version of sgdm.exe shipped with
3.5.2 and the new free version) use the same command line arguments.
So you should be able to use the new version with 3.5.2 by just
changing the name of the .exe in the options dialog and leaving the
rest of the command line as is.

Dual monitor support is a little clumsy
Sorry, it currently clips the remembered size to fit a single screen.
