Fair enough - I probably should have been clearer. Look forward to the fix.
Thanks
Tom

Re: VSIP "padlocks" in solution explorer don't always update
Sorry guys - my colleague reports the following after updating to that new release: When checking out items, the file does not show as being checked out. If the file is in a solution-level folder and is linked to from a child project, then the file in the solution folder shows as not being checked o...

Re: VSIP "padlocks" in solution explorer don't always update
Just checked out a file from a solution folder (not from a folder in a project) and the icon remained as a padlock, but then changed several seconds later to a red tick.
This behaviour is fine as long as we know about it.
Thanks
Tom

Re: VSIP "padlocks" in solution explorer don't always update
Just had word back from my other developer - he has the same issue as me (but under XP Pro/VS2008)
I will check out the pre-release client now - I presume it still talks to the 4.1.2 server ok?
Thanks

Re: VSIP "padlocks" in solution explorer don't always update
I will check with our other guy as to whether he has the same issue as me. I haven't noticed a pattern - sometimes it does work, but I'd say the majority of the time it doesn't. I do get "Refreshing Vault status" appearing at the bottom of VS' main window for extended periods, now you come...

VSIP "padlocks" in solution explorer don't always update
Hi Sometimes I am noticing that if I check out a file using the right-click->Check Out menu item in Solution Explorer in VS2008, it is not showing up as a red tick. Instead that file is still showing up as a padlock - however I can edit/save this file freely, then check in my changes just fine, desp...

Re: Sandbox Area for saving "Pending" code
That's the forthcoming "shelve" feature isn't it?
When is that actually due?

Issue with invisible modal dialogue box
I RDP in from home a fair bit on to my work dev machine. At work I have dual monitors and at home I have a single monitor. At some point (at work) I think I dragged the modal "Check In" dialogue box on to the second screen. VS "remembers" where I put it. When I right click a file...

Building an old version of a solution?
This might be a stupid question, but as a long time Vault user I just realised I don't know the answer to it. Suppose I want to manually build a VS solution stored in Vault as it was at a certain date in the past. How would I go about doing that without rolling back the main solution to that date? E...
