Calling Webservice from ASP Classic
Is it possible to call the Dragnet WebService using ASP Classic? My guess is that you can't but I thought I'd ask. Here's the situation. I have a few web applications that I host that are still running in ASP (they will be converted to .Net sometime in the future). What I would like to be able to do...

Updating Dragnet Suggestions
I like the ability to update bugs in Dragnet through Vault when checking in files. Here's a couple of suggestions that would make it even better, for me, at least :). When checking in provide the ability to: (1) assign a status instead of just marking the item as completed. A dropdown list of the st...

Here everyone uses Visual Studio so things are easy for us. Here's some ideas that may work: 1 - Get everyone to use Visual Studio. Designers don't need as many features as developers so you may be able to get scalled back versions. 2 - What about the webmatrix application? I've never used it but I ...

When configured to only receive notifications on items assigned to the user, Dragnet does not send email notifications when the assignee makes the change themselves. That's what I suspected and it makes perfect sense to do it this way. Were the items originally assigned to the team member? They wer...

Feature or Bug?
If a user is logged into dragnet and assigns an item to themself is an email generated? Today while working in dragnet one of our development team members was adding and assigning items. When she assigned an item to any team member other than herself emails were generated and received. When she assi...

Feature Request - Add Reporter Field
Could you please add the Reporter field to ModifyItem.aspx webform so that we can fill this in for externally submitted items. I would also like to see this field added to AddImemExternal.aspx webform as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

1 - Is there a way to force a refresh of the bug list? Everytime you open the browse for bugs dialog you get a fresh list of bugs. We don't cache the bugs ids anywhere. However, if you kept the browse for bugs dialog open and edited the Dragnet item it wouldn't been refreshed until you re-opened th...

Re: Bug List during Checkin
1 - Is there a way to force a refresh of the bug list? If you go back to the Update Bugs dialog, and then hit Browse again, it should update the bug list to reflect what is current. I've figured out the problem. Only items with a status of Open appear in the list of bugs you can update through the ...

Is there some user-level setting I'm missing? Check Preferences->Email for the specific project and verify you are subscribed to receive emails. So this setting is an individual thing? Dragnet Usage Questions
Greetings, I have a couple of questions regarding Dragnet. 1 - When an item is assigned to someone, should that person get an email saying that an item has been assigned to him? If this is already built in it doesn't work for me :(. Is there some user-level setting I'm missing? 2 - Is there a status...

Bug List during Checkin
I'm not sure if this is a Vault or Dragnet issue but since the problem is happening from within V.S. Net I'll blame Vault :) While in Dragnet I assigned some bugs from a different developer to myself. I then checked out the file in VS.Net and made the fixes needed. When I went to check in the file I...
