Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015

If I remember correctly, when you update the edmx from the database (with a change to an existing table or a new table) and then save the edmx, it did not correctly check out all the generated files underneath that edmx

Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015

I'm confused by your answer. We are already on Vault 8.0.1 (299). I didn't think this version supported Vault Enhanced Client? Does it? When is the next release of Vault coming out? Also we have had issues with Entity Framework EDMX files and Vault, where Vault doesn't always checkout all the sub fi...

Vault and Visual Studio 2015

We are on Vault 8.0.1 (299) and would like to start using Visual Studio 2015. Do you have a version that supports VS 2015? Also, we'd really like to make sure the next release of Vault supports the Enhanced Client integration. Finally, we have had issues with Entity Framework EDMX files, where when ...

Branching

We have a project that we'd like to branch off and then merge back to the trunk. This way we support production and new stuff until the new stuff goes live.

What's the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks

Re: Upgrade to 8.0.2 Issue

The SourceCode Reports in Vault 8 require that the Microsoft ReportViewer 2012 Runtime Redistributable be installed on the Vault Server machine Some systems may already have the ReportViewer 2012 Runtime. However, if you do not see specific reports listed under the Reports menu item in the Vault 7 w...

Re: server uses a protocol that is not supported by this cli

OK I figured it out. The issue was that for this particular build, it was using the Nant.VaultTasks.dll and not the command line argument. Once I updated the 14 files to the 8.0.1 version, all is well.

Thanks

Re: server uses a protocol that is not supported by this cli

One SourceGear Vault Standard Client v 8.0.1.299 and SourceGear Vault Standard Server v 8.0.1.299. So I'm not sure what to...

Re: server uses a protocol that is not supported by this cli

I logged on to Build-Test and installed Vault Client 8.0.1.
On a different box I installed Vault Admin 8.0.1 and Vault Client 8.0.1.

So I'm not sure what to do or what went wrong?
Can you help further please?
