2.0.6 client Check-In does nothing for setup & msi files

We created a "Release" folder under a VS.NET solution in Vault and checked in the Setup.exe, Setup.ini, and the MSI files into Vault. Later, we checked them out and did a new release build. After the build, in the Vault client the status became "Unknown" for each of the three fil...

Integration with Sharepoint?

1. Is there any way to integrate Vault with Sharepoint for storing versions of docuements in Vault instead of Sharepoint's internal storage? 2. Is there an easy way to "expose" files stored in Vault through a sharepoint site (custom web part?) so that clients can collaborate and see the mo...

None of the checkboxes are checked..

None of the checkboxes are checked.
Exiting the IDE and re-entering it does resolve the problem.

No, its not to set check-out after check-in, or

to keep checked out. In fact, viewing the status through the Vault client showed that they were in fact checked in. More mucking around recently has shown that this problem only starts occuring if I have attempted to check a file in or out through the IDE when I am unable to contact the Vault server...

IDE client - status does not change in IDE after checkin

The last couple of days, whenever I check a file in through the IDE, it appears to work but then the file status in the IDE remains checked out. If I go to the GUI client, I can look at the status and it is indeed checked in with my revisions, comments, etc. On the IDE, I can continue to check it in...

Get by Label after demotion gets wrong versions of files

We have a project that was labelled at the root with a new label. We then demoted some files in a sub-folder so that older versions of those files are associated with the new label. We did not demote any other files - all other files' latest versions are part of that label. We then did a Get by Labe...

i don't think so

I thought of this, too. First off, there were no status messages at the bottom of the other windows showing that anything was happening. Secondly, in Task Manager, the Vault talk used 0% CPU and the number of IO reads/writes did not change. None of this is consistent with when the Vault client is su...

]Where was the label applied, and are there other labels applied below that in the tree? -The label was applied to a folder below the root, but I had opened the Show Labels dialog for a folder another level below that one. Also, are you just getting the working folder that is supplied in the Get dia...

more info

It's a large project. The label was applied to a folder one folder below the root. I selected another folder even deeper than the folder where the label was applied. Below that sub-folder is an entire tree including several solutions etc. Some of the folders in the tree have different working folder...

moving to 2.0.4

I just noticed that 2.0.4 now exists. What I couldn't find, however, are answers to some basic questions: 1. What is the upgrade process for 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 server? Can I simply install 2.0.4 msi on the server where 2.0.3 is, and Vault will take of the rest? Do need to do anything special before or a...

Ack! Vault Admin tool repository list - incorrect?

I just added some new repositories. Now, there are two repositories in the list that appear to be cross-referenced. When I click on either of them and look at properties, the properties for the OTHER repository comes up. One is named Xxx-DEF and the other is named Xxx ABC Well, those aren't the real...

How do I backup an individual repository?

I would like to have a way of automating the backup of a single repository that I can send to a client's network; something that I could run on a nightly basis. Also, what is the best way to backup the entire Vault system in an automated way? Right now, we are using SQL Server to backup the sgvault ...
