Change made on Share2 not seen by Diff in Share1

Server & Client 3.53 I've made a small test and not sure how to interpret the results, Can you please help: 1. $/MyProject/Config folder is shared to $/MyProjectShare (the Config folder has File1.txt) 2. Check out, Edit and add a line "Some Changes ..." in $/MyProjectShare/Config/File1...

Try deleting the folder you're trying to branch, and then undelete it. I know this sounds like waving a chicken over your head, but this has worked for some users, by resetting the path. 1. Created $/Projects/My Project/CW/Releases/ _TEST_Branch folder 2. Delete _TEST_Branch folder 3. Undelete 4. B...

The Obliterate command is so unpredictable and time consuming that I gave up long time ago. The most frustrating is the server spinning for a while and came back with either a timeout or the usual message "Unable to Obliterate item ..." As a results, our sgvault DB will always increases in...

Vault Server Config settings lost after update to 3.53

This has happened during the update of the Vault Server from 3.19 to 3.52. Now it occurred again when updating from...

Just did IISReset, attempted branching the Code folder in a test target folder. Still same error.

Also just updated server + client to 3.53, same error.

What is SccLocalPathX = inetpub\\wwwroot\\MyWebProject ?

Sorry for a question which is not really Vault related. I would like to better understand VS2003 integration with Web Projects. In the Solution file, a web project has a line with: SccLocalPath4 = ..\\..\\..\\inetpub\\wwwroot\\MyWebProject What does that mean? There is no mention of the home directo...

The first step would be to restart IIS when you have the opportunity. You could also try deleting and undeleting the branched folder in the repository. What is the mechanism behind the IISReset action that could possibly make the branching issue disappear? BTW I have seen this suggestion in other p...

I'd like to but can't do it now because we are in the middle of the day. So I have to content with the turn around tricks to branch each sub folder individually.

Could the computer which starts the branching operation has any influence?

Could there be something wrong in the Code folder? I got the same error trying the branch operation on 3 different machines, one of them is the Vault Server itself. The Code folder It has 4 subfolders. If I branch each subfolder then there is no error. Is there any possible reason I can branch the s...

Thanks for following up. We really hope you can find a fix soon. If there is a problem in the DB is it before or after the branching operation? In anyway, the update from 3.16 to 3.52 went successfully two weeks ago. The Steps which were done: 1. Label current version folder. let's call myApp projec...

Here is some screenshots to illustrate Issue #1 described in the original post. Please notice that the Show Label screen doesn't show the same list of labels than the Show History screen.
