Possible feature request - re Shared files/folders list

Vault 5.0.2.18753 After importing our dbs from vss into Vault I did some renaming/moving of the structure which in turn has made our history views a bit confusing when trying to view Shared files as the paths reflected are the originals, when trying to view all shared files in a folder tree. So I wa...

Feature Request for File/Folder Merge option

Vault 5.0.2.18753 This may already be in as a feature request so add our vote if so or please create one if not. The request is to add the ability to Branch Merge a single file or folder from the Right Click context menu instead of going thru the Branch Merge wizard. At times we have something that ...

Quesion re Vault and the Temp folder content

Vault 5.0.2.18753 A few users are complaing that their drives are filling up and that they have to go in and manually delete files/folders collecting in their temp folders that are from Vault. The main culprits seem to be Diff's and Shelvesets. While I found settings about baseline limits regarding ...

Re: File view sorting issue

Sorry I should have clarified that a bit more, basically the file checked in will move out of the Check Outs portion and into the non-checked out files and the non-checked out files will not resort. So basically the same as the other but less obvious when it happens I guess. Thanks for adding our vo...

Question regarding Unknown status

Vault 5.0.2.18753 One of my users files are ending up in an Unknown status. He claims he has not changed his working folders, that he hasn't moved the working folders outside of Vault or inside for that matter, and he also says he has not changed his cache location at all. The latest incident happen...

Re: File view sorting issue

Thanks Greg, I hadn't found that one. I had come across this one which I've tried and what it says doesn't work, at least for me or my users. Since it seems to be from the 5.0 preview info I'm guessing it got dropped come release for some reason or another. http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.ph...

File view sorting issue

Vault 5.0.2.8753 This may already be posted and if so please just add our vote to the request. When sorting by something, say Check-ourts, and you have files checked out and you check one in the sort doesn't refresh. It's even stranger that if you don't click the refresh button and move to another f...

Checkout Location in Client UI

Vault 5.0.2.18753 Currently the Checkout Location in the Client UI shows a local path on the system of the person who has the file checked out. Is there either a way to enable or already an existing feature request to have the system name prepended to the path? (something like "systemname:d:\my...

Re: Question regarding Labels, Branching and folder renaming

If labels were covered in the merge of the entire history then yes you can add my vote to that. Can we expect that in the next service pack!

Re: Question regarding Labels, Branching and folder renaming

Could you add a feature request for Labels from a branch to be mergable. I understand it creates possible label name conflicts but if that could be added as something to be resolved in a merge I think it could be very useful. For example, if we have a main_branch that we do our main release on and u...

Re: Rollback issue

Beth, thanks for the quick reply. I didn't realize you couldn't do it on a branch. That seems like odd behavior though since I can do a Get of an old version and also since Rollback just checks in the old version as a new version. Is there a reason why you cannot Rollback on a branch? Thanks, J
