Any news?
Hello, is there any news about this? I looked on the SourceGear site and Dragnet isn't even listed on the download section these days. Will there be a fix and an update?

Hitting 'enter' gives unexpected behaviour
We just updated our installation to version 1.0.7.1379 from something ancient like 1.0.4.xxx. Everyone is complaining about the same thing... If you've got an item open and you want to jump to another, you type the number into the 'Goto Item' box at the top of the page. Then hit enter instead of mou...

Doh?
Hello, I just got caught out by the same behaviour. If you have a load of different milestones, with the dates for some of them chosen arbitrarily, then it's quite easy accidentally to make one or more fall on the same date as another. Dragnet's behaviour is confusing: just because two milestone hap...

Yes, I've noticed the smart behaviour where item references become hyperlinks. That's useful, but if you want to create a reciprocal link between two items, you would need to go to the other item and add it there too. The extended functionality I'm suggesting would require a link entity separate fro...

Feature Request: Inter-item threads or references
It sometimes happens that we have two issues which we later realise are related. Then we need to merge them somehow. I usually do this by closing one and writing "see issue 999", and then in issue 999 writing "see also issue 123", or something. The opposite situation also arises:...

Feature request: Show milestones when adding a new one
When I'm adding a new milestone or editing an existing one, I often need to navigate back and forth or open a new window to consult the list of existing milestones (names and dates). It would be easier if I could see at least the latest few milestones on the same page while editing or adding.

Feature request: constrain space used by right-side menu
The right-hand side menu (Recent items... My recent) seems to occupy an horizontal space which is proportional to the full page size. When I'm running in full screen, this is about twice as much space as it needs. This is very frustrating when working in batch edit mode, where the dropdown lists are...

Feature request: Details should not be required
When adding a new item to Dragnet, I'm often irritated to be told 'Please fix the following errors: Details is required'. Sometimes, the description of an issue is enough (at least to get started), and no details are needed. I just type an 'x' and press 'Submit' to get on with what I'm trying to do,...

Problems adding an attachment
When I try to add an attachment to an item, I am getting an error, thus: "Error The data provided was invalid." (sic) I tried jpg, txt, zip, from simple local paths. I tried with and without a description. Eventually, I realised that I need to type a comment before an attachment will be ac...

Feature request: Allow more customisation of Recent Items
Personally, I find the Recent Items page to be bewildering and pretty much useless as a way of getting a quick overview of what's been happening in the project. I just want to see "what's new?", and I can't readily discern the aswer from three separate lists (usually going off the page), w...

Feature request: Show only active milestones for Queries
When I go to the query page and want to find all the issues for a particular milestone, it's irritating to scroll down through all the long-forgotten milestones of yesteryear before I find the one I need. Could the inactive milestones be omitted from this list by default, with some mechanism to allo...

I checked with another DB, and the same thing holds. That DB was definitely imported from the same server on the same machine. It happens for text in the description field, and for text in the details field. In each case, I can search for the issue and find it in SOSCE but it doesn't show up in Drag...

Queries don't return items imported from SOS?
I'm confused about the results of queries. If I search for a keyword, the only results are from very recent items. I tried to 'resurrect' an older item to the query scope by making sure it was open and belonged to an active milestone, but it still failed to show up. Only when I actually edited the b...

Feature request: Batch edits should send 1 email only
If you are signed up to receive change notifications by email, and then someone makes a batch edit (eg. re-assigning 30 issues to a different milestone), how many emails would you want to get?
Personally, I'd like only one, but it seems that I get 30. Could this be changed?
