Hi Beth,
it seems to work Ok on the server but the server is running Windows Server 2003 sp2 and IE8, it only seems to be an issue with IE9 as Firefox on the same systems works fine.
As far as I can tell only vault is using port 8080 and I can't see connections on the other port.
Rgrds Ian.

Re: Sorting Summary views in IE
Sorry I should have said
IE9 on Windows 7,
We also have an issue with the search box disappearing after you have done a search, so you cant do another search, again this works fine in Firefox (16.0.1).

Sorting Summary views in IE
We have just upgraded to version 6.0.1 and are now having problems sorting the by the column headings in IE. It works fine in Firefox. For example if I go to the At a glance summary view and then select the unresolved items for a particular mile stone I get a page with (in this particular case) 41 i...

Time Estimate error
Hi I have just updated to v6.0.1 and am getting an error when trying to use the time-estimate summary. The web app just shows an empty page with "An unknown error has occurred." on it. There doesn't appear to be any relevant info in the log files, any guidance you can give us as to how to ...

Re: How to roll back to a label/date?
We have also desperately needed a way to roll-back a whole change set in one easy method. When you have changes spread amongst many folders all belonging to one item (we are using Vault Pro) the manual work-around is a dreadful way to have to do it. Please Please fix the ASAP it really is a major ho...

IE9 Problems with Vault Pro
We are using VaultPro 5.1.1 and we have a couple of users who have installed IE9 and they are finding that Vault will appear to stop responding after a while and they need to close the window and re-login to Vault to get it working again. Does anyone have any thoughts about this, is it a VaultPro is...

Re: Fortress 2.0 - Printable button?
Hi,
we also used to use the printing view to make exporting into other documents easier so if there is any way to achive this we would really like to know, either that or add another vote for the reinstatment of the print view.

Database Size Impact of daily Shelve
Hi, We have just installed Fortress 2.0.1 and have a question about Shelve; Some of my users would like to use Shelve as a daily back up facility, so at the end of the day they could shelve their changes into the database (where they will be automaticaly backed up). The following day (asuming all is...

Re: Changed files not appearing in Item comments
Hi, is that the expected behaviour? I would have thought it should be able to add the file list to the item as it has the item number from the update bug edit box.

Inactive Milestones
I belive it is a know issue that having non-closed items asigned to inactive milestones causes problems in the web client. But because you are not prevented from re-opening an Item that has been assigned to a inactive milestone we have had this happen to us several times. Could you be prevented from...

Changed files not appearing in Item comments
Hi I'm encouontering an odd behavour in fortress (1.1.4), if you check in a file against an item number and have Add checkin coments as Item comment ticked then the list of files is only added to the Item if you browse for the item number but not if you just type the item number in to the update bug...

Re: Add label times out when Database mirroring is enabled
Hi I'll run the reg_iis tomorrow and se if that helps.
As for the SQL logs there aren't any erorrs or anything in there, just messages about the backups having happened.

Re: Add label times out when Database mirroring is enabled
Thanks for the reply, as for server resouces well when a label is being added one core on the serever is fully occupied this is the same whether mirroring is on or off, it just that it carries on for longer and then times out when mirroring is switched on. The web service and the database server are...
