3.0.6

I don't have anything checked out, so I don't have to worry about it anyway.

That said, what does that actually mean and what will actually happen? Just me doing a Get Latest on the $/ after deleting the cache folder? And is this the folder I should delete: C:\Documents and Settings\asills\Application Data\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client\AFC9F6DF-AB7E-41AB-B426-F9EB35152FA5\asills...

Get Latest exception

This occurred while attempting to get latest on a project I already had locally. I deleted all the files from the working folder just in case and tried to get latest again and it keeps bombing on this one file. I can double-click to view the file and that works just fine, just a Get Latest fails eve...

Feature inquiry: roaming user profiles

So Vault stores all user cache in %AppData%, which gets carried between machines in the case of roaming profiles. "The directory that serves as a common repository for application-specific data for the current roaming user. A roaming user works on more than one computer on a network. A roaming ...

Thanks, I can make a batch file for that and don't really need a collapse all now (since it's not something that is very useful 99% of the time, just in the case where I dug through about 45 folders looking for .reg files to modify and forgot to collapse them when I finished).

Feature suggestion: "store working folder data here...&

Basically instead of having only two options (AppData or local folder) have the ability to specify where to store it. I have a scratch disk I use for exactly this kind of thing and I don't want to use TweakUI to point my entire AppData folder there, but I would like to be able to configure Vault to ...

Feature suggestion: expand all/collapse all

The ability to expand all nodes and/or collapse all nodes in the VaultGUI. Really all I care about is collapse all, but I don't think you can have one without the other. Or I guess if there was a way to say "stop remembering what folders I had expanded" that'd accomplish the same thing. No...

I think I'm just going to ignore the mess of things in the obliterate unless one of the developers here tells me that they deleted something and it needs to be permanent.

1. This is how the import tricked the VSS import to use the label promotion, etc? It adds a file, labels, then deletes the file right afterwards? 2. Yes, the folders that are problematic are the ones that had all the weird-ass stuff done to them in an attempt to branch, however none of them were sha...

Thanks for the reply. The main concern I have with this is that Vault becomes and stays permanetly "dirty". I don't like my recycle bin to stay full for very long and I repeatedly empty my Outlook inbox because that crap is just taking up wasted space. I see deleted files in the same regar...

Oh and now when I try to obliterate anything (now that the first failed obliterate has finally finished on the SQL box) I get a message box with just this in it:

I just installed 3.0.6 (both the server and the client) which has a note "Improved performance of Obliterate", yet it's still incredibly slow for me. We have hundreds of those stupid VS.NET temp files, which I selected in the obliterate and it continually times out. I even tried to select ...

Okay, well FYI the second sql script here:
http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2924

Gets an error in query analyzer (the cursor has 2 fields in it but the FETCH only sets one variable).
