Show "All projects" in project listbox.

Hi, I think it would be convenient when the listbox showing all projects in the item tracking view (located top left) would also show an option "All projects". This enables the user to not only quicky navigate from one project to another, but also to browse to a view showing all open items...

Re: Mandatory fields

I assume it's currently not possible to compel a user to define some specific fields before an item gets closed? We have defined a custom field "Solved in Version" and would like to have this field filled in when the user closes the item. Please launch a feature request for this (defining ...

Add verified items to "Projects At-A-Glance".

The projects At-a-glance overview shows the open and unresolved items for a selected project. The verified items however, are not shown. If I want to see those, I have to run a separate query each time(!) I think it would be very practical, when the verified items are also shown in the projects At-A...

Ian, Linda, We use milestones to group items for planned updates and use categories to group items for functionalities / area. E.g. software/hardware/mechanics, and functional areas within a software product when the project concerns only a software product. How do you use the categories field? I do...

Hello Jeff,

I did the steps you wrote, but unfortunately I still cannot change my own comments. I uninstalled an reinstalled the Fortress Client, but this had no effect.

Fortress client is version 1.0.1.15780
Fortress server is version 1.0.1.15780

Feature request: show history for double click on file

I'd like to have the option to show the history when I double click on a file in the folder/file tree overview. Currently Fortress only supports the 'view' and 'edit' operation in Tools - Options - General - Double click on file.

Regards,
Marcel

Status?

Hello Jeff,

Has your QA department tested this issue?
Because the same problem exists for other users.
Perhaps there is something wrong with our Fortress installation?

Regards,
Marcel

Label current working folder

Is it possible to label the versions present in the current working file? As I understand, labels are always applied to the latest version of all files in the selected (sub)directories. Via label promotion, labels can be changed to exclude files from the label or modifiy the version for a specific f...

How to change comments

In the history explorer all versions of a file are shown including comments. When I select "Details..." two comments are shown: change set comment and item comment. I want to change these comments. In the version details window two buttons are shown for these purposes. But they are greyed ...

Restoring backup solves probem.

Hello SourceGear, We restored a backup of the database and the problem is solved now. Maybe the problem was caused by adding a definition of a status field that was deleted earlier (already exists error). I also noticed that when I was logged in as administrator earlier, Fortress showed me (in the a...
