how To restore a delete file

One of my developers deleted a file and now we want to restore it.
I am logged in the Admin tool and I go to obliterate and I see the file but all I can do from this page is obliterate it.

How do I restore it?

Thanks

I did that too.
Same comment.

What else can I try?

Thanks for helping out.

PS I didn't tell you this before I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64. Does that matter?

Installing Vault 5.1 on Windows Server 2008R2

I am trying to install Vault Server (Std edition) on Windows Server 2008R2 and I am running into this problem. SourceGear Vault Standard Server x64-bit cannot be installed on systems with .net framework version smaller than 3.5. Yet, I have .net 4.5 installed. When I launch IIS I see where the defau...

Re: Upgrade Vault from 5.1.1 (19215) to 7.0

Beth:

I sent you at email to support@sourcegear.com.

Also, let me know about my SQL and Reporting Services report if it will work after I upgrade to 7.0.

Thanks

Re: Upgrade Vault from 5.1.1 (19215) to 7.0

I also have this custom code that I wrote that is used as the source for a Reporting Services report. Will this change with the upgrade? USE sgvault SELECT r.name AS 'Repository Name', c.fullpath, c.lockwhen, u.login AS 'User Name', u.email FROM tblcheckoutlistitems AS c INNER JOIN tblrepositories A...

I see this link

But how do I know what version of Vault I have and what account do you have on file for me to download version 7?

Thanks

Integrate Vault 5.1 with Visual Studio 12

How do I do this?

I have installed VS 2012 and Vault 5.1 on my Windows Server 2008 box. But the Vault integration is missing.

Thanks

Upgrade to Vault 6.0

We have renewed our Vault standard maintenance including the free upgrade to Vault 6.0.
We are currently on 5.1.1.

What's all involved in upgrading?

Is it a big deal and have there been any issues or gotcha's that I should know about?

Thanks

Re: How Does Shelving Work

So can you shelve code into Vault WITHOUT CHECKING IT OUT? In my case, here's what I do. I work on a C# class library file. When I do, Vault checks it out. Now I have to leave work so I shelve it because I haven't fully tested and I want to be safe that my changes are in Vault. I thought Shelving re...

Re: How Does Shelving Work

OK but why when I shelve code, which copies it to Vault, the code is still in a Checked Out state?

Re: How Does Shelving Work

Is the purpose of Shelving to protect from unwanted builds?

As I see it, if you shelve code in and give it a unique name, does the build process over look this shelved code and uses the latest checked into Vault?

is this the purpose of shelving?

Thanks

How Does Shelving Work

We are on Vault version 5.1.1 (19215) and would like to know how Shelving works.
Is there an article or something on it or can you explain why when we shelved code, Vault still thinks its checked out. Why is that?

Thanks

Tom
