OK, I just emailed the info and yes I was required to uninstall Dragnet and Vault from the web server before installing Fortress and I left the databases in tact so they could be upgraded.

Fortress Performance

I just upgraded my Vault/Dragnet system to Fortress (1.04) and the performance of Fortress i no where near as good a Vault. Every aspect of the app is worse and it is all running on the same hardware and network that my Vault/Dragnet system was on. For instance, when I right click on the web project...

I opened the solution and got it bound to the 3.5.2 verison of Vault just like it was before. Then I unboound it and closed and saved everyt...

Well, I unbound the solution and closed VS and then reopened it and it I get the following message: The project 'xyz' is under source control. An error occured registering this project with source control. It is recommended that you do not make any changes to this project. I get this for the same th...

OK, I tried something new. I went to a different PC and opened the solution and unbound it from source control (which was the Vault 3.5.2 client). I then changed the default source control provider to Fortress. Then, I right-clicked on the solution in the Solution Explorer and selected Bind. This wo...

The Fortress plugin is the default provider. I was trying test the upgrade in such a way that it wouldn't interfere with my current development solution. I backed up the Vault and Dragnet databases and restored them to a test database server then installed Fortress. Then I tried to open the solution...

Is Fortress the replacement for Dragnet? Is there an upgrade path (i.e. pricing) for that or do we have to buy all new licenses? Is there a data conversion from Dragnet to Fortress if we upgrade?

I want to generate reports showing all comments (with the filenames modified to fix the issue) on a group of items filtered by date resolved (which would I guess be modified date) and the resolver. In the query screen I can't tell what date it's querying on. Also, saving a report as a file is not th...

Reporting

There doesn't appear to be any reporting in Dragnet so is there some sort of schema description available so that I can create my own reports?

As long as I'm asking for things how about a way to save queries.

Using Dragnet Version 1.0.7.1379 .

How do I get files based on label?

I must be pretty dumb because I cannot find a menu option that will allow me to get all files in a tree with a specific lable name. The documentation says you can but I can't find it.
