Keep seeing Connect to Server dialog in VS2008SP2. See pic below.
Although it is not a blocking issue, I Just need to know where the problem lies and how to work around it.
EDIT* Clean installed MSDN Win7 Professional - same prob.

Re: soscmd.exe usage
No, client is closed. I really don't understand how soscmd.exe has ability to increment version number on checkin if -soshome parameter is only passed to -checkout command and the -checkin command is not -soshome compatiable and also has no ability to view scope of previous command since the previou...

Re: soscmd.exe usage
OK, so I think it has something to do with database1.sos which never increments the version by 1, so local version is 1 click behind remote version. I would of though soscmd.exe would of worked bit better with sos explorer data file.

Re: CRASH dual operating SOS + VS
A. Select the form files in SOS Explorer
- Delete them using VS+SOS plugin
A.Show and focus the SOS window while the files are selected. Probably wont matter if it was minimized cause SOS explorer crashes on .Focus event.

CRASH dual operating SOS + VS
SOS Explorer crashes when you have 2 files selected that get deleted via VS.
Repo steps..
1. Open SOS Explorer
2. Select Form1.vb and form1.Designer.VB
3. Load the project in VS+SOS plugin
4. Delete Form1
5. Restore SOS window
..SOS crashes with fatal error

A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the SourceOffSite 4 Server service to connect.
Thanks

Hi,
Could you make SourceOffSite Explorer 'AppActivate' itself once user has draged a file over the explorer.
I always have to flip through windows after adding a file to SOS.
Thanks
Jared Sullivan.

Thanks for response, I guess I should change prot 8080 to something else, since I think port 8080 is dome sort of proxy port standard. There seems like a few things you could do, like: 1. Change default port 2. Implement better handling for ignoring GETs FYI, HTTP kinda sits ontop of TCP/IP protocol.
