Rollback issue
Vault 5.0.2.18753 We use Folder Security and my users do have RCA privileges for the areas in question but for some reason a couple of users cannot Rollback. I've gone over and watched them do it and for some reason Rollback is greyed out. They are selecting an Older version than the current one, th...

Question re Active Directory, Profiles and Change Password.
Vault 5.0.2.18753 We are using the method of Active Directory authentication with Vault and it works great but we are running into some confusion and I wanted to see if this is an issue or perhaps a feature request. Our policy is that passwords are changed every 90 days and since Vault does not use ...

Please add my vote on this one as well. My users are constantly complaining about the lack of this feature.
Thanks,

Re: Shadow Folders causing ASP to restart
Beth,
giving the Network Service access on the App Pool solved that one then oddly it caused the C:\VaultTemp one to fail again for the log file so I added Network Service there as well and now it seems to be working fine.
Thanks for the assistance.

Re: Shadow Folders causing ASP to restart
Beth, got a chance to try this tonight as it turns out. It's very odd behavior but it does seem to be a permissions issue on the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys folder. Once I set Everyone to Full control the crashes stopped. I tried removing and...

Re: Shadow Folders causing ASP to restart
Beth, I am going to try your suggestions but need to wait until a quieter time, probably this weekend. I just wanted to point out that a permissions issue wouldn't make any sense as the Shadow Folder function does update correctly when I check in a changed file and that the only time I"m gettin...

Shadow Folders causing ASP to restart
Vault 5.0.2.18753 I've setup a Shadow Folder and periodically it is causing ASP.Net to crash with an unhandled exception. It's giving the KeySet Does Not Exist error in the Event logs. I've verified all the permissions settings and it is updating files correctly for the Shadow Folder that is setup, ...

Re: Question regarding Labels, Branching and folder renaming
The labels are there from the import. For the import I put one section under $/main_branch and it's old folder name was ek2 which I wished to change to have a more generic meaning so I renamed it to cpp. So it's $/main_branch/cpp now. The labels that were imported however point to $/main_branch/ek2 ...

Re: Question regarding Labels, Branching and folder renaming
I'm doing this all from the client UI. The name changes and that breaking the labels concerns me most, I understand, somewhat, why it's breaking it but I was hoping for someway to correct it, like from Label Promotion, which I could not find. For branching, we deal with a major release and service p...

Question regarding Labels, Branching and folder renaming
Vault 5.0.2.18753 I'm having a couple of problems and wondering if perhaps I did something wrong and if I can somehow correct it. After importing our source from VSS I took the oppourtunity to rearrange things a bit and this included renmaing some folders. What I'm finding is that now I cannot refer...

Command line UndoCheckout - new feature rqst
Vault 5.0.2.18753
Could you add a feature request to add the ability to Leave local files when using the UndoCheckouts from the command line.
Basically if the command line version had the same options the UI version does.
Thanks,
J

Column order in main view doesn't restore properly
Vault 5.0.2.18753 One of my users was trying to move the columns around in the Client main view and while the columns would move correctly once they close Vault and relaunch it the columns return to their original locations. After doing a search here I did find another post which indicated the regis...
