How can I see what's checked out in multiple repositories?

Is there a way to determine what files a single user has checked out globally across multiple repositories? And a way to undo checkout without having to go one repository at a time?

Usability request

Hi, We are an agency with many clients, and we have a separate repository set up for each client. Right now we have nearly 120 repositories. Many of the Windows that display repositories for selection are very small. My users are complaining about the main Select Repository dialog, but it's even wor...

Thanks, that sounds like a good workaround.

FailDBFault on History

I've seen a few other posts on this subject, but nothing very recent, and fixes seem to have been applied to older versions. When we run History on a folder, we get "A database error has occured (FailDBFault)." However, if we remove "Branch" from the selections in the Actions tab...

We had already tried clearing the client cache, and that didn't work. Then we restarted IIS on the server, and then cleared the client cache again, and this resolved the problem. Thanks.

Can't create folder, can't rename, can't check in file

This is happening only in one repository. All others are working fine. If I try to create a new folder, or try to rename an existing folder, or try to check in a file that is checked out, I get the following error: [1/3/2007 10:01:43 AM] Preparing data to begin transaction [1/3/2007 10:01:43 AM] Beg...

Visual Studio 2005 "Web Site" model

The "Web Site" model in VS 2005 doesn't use .sln or .csproj files to track which files are part of the web site. Suppose I and another developer are working on the same web site. Both of us have local copies on our individual workstations. If I delete a file from my web site, I am prompted...

This solution will also require an additional license. Are we supposed to buy extra licenses just to support automated builds?

Thanks. I've decided that the best approach is to archive the VSS project and restore it in its own database and then import that into Vault.

Importing a single SourceSafe project from a large database

We have recently purchased Vault. We have a large SourceSafe database consisting of many projects. We want to import each project separately into its own repository in Vault. In the import wizard, when I get to the Pre-Scan page, I see a list of Logged-in Users and the warning about not making any c...
