Re: AuthTokenHash matched, but couldn't get the userid
There's nothing in the Vault server log at this time that is associated with the problem user. I just see normal entries from the other two users that were on at the time. There's nothing that isn't clearly identified with other users and nothing at all around the specific time that we were trying t...

Re: AuthTokenHash matched, but couldn't get the userid
There's no proxy. No known firewall changes. There are 4 other machines on this same wireless network and none of the others are having problems connecting to Vault. Turns out the log was already turned on; we just weren't looking in the right place. Here's what we see in the log when we try to log ...

Re: AuthTokenHash matched, but couldn't get the userid
Good suggestion… no, I can't log in as me from her machine. I get the same error.
She has never had trouble logging in before. This is new this morning.
I couldn't find a log of any kind in C:\temp or C:\Windows\Temp. I couldn't find any way to turn logging on or off in the client.

AuthTokenHash matched, but couldn't get the userid
I have one employee today who can't log into Vault from her machine. The server log says "AuthTokenHash matched, but couldn't get the userid" and that's all. She sees a message "unable to connect to (url). No server was found at the specified URL. Please verify your network settings u...

This morning, Vault stopped updating shadow folders
Everything was working fine last night and for several months before last night. This morning when I check in a change to a file, it is not getting copied to the shadow folder. Tried multiple files and none are updated when I check in changes. I need to keep working and I hesitate to manually copy f...

Re: Folder has disappeared
From my original post: However, when I log in through the Web interface as an admin, I can see it's still there and that my user account has RCA permissions. If I log into the Web interface using my user account, I can see the project and all its files. It just isn't showing up in the Vault GUI. How...

There are some items in that list, but none are related to the folder in question.

Folder has disappeared
I use the GUI client under Windows XP to directly check files in/out. A project I was working on just two weeks ago has somehow disappeared from my list of folders/projects in Vault. I have refreshed the $ project to try to get it back, but it's gone. However, when I log in through the Web interface...

"Moving" Vault to a new domain on the same server
At your suggestion, I'm moving Vault to its own subdomain on our server. I have a couple questions. 1) I wasn't sure if I could/should delete Vault from its original location before installing in the new location. The install at the new location seemed to go fine. I only see one entry in "add/r...

Re: Shadow folder doesn't reflect changes to repository file
Here's a conundrum: I'm using shadow folders to manage three websites. The home directories for the websites contain a mix of files that exist in the repository and those that don't. For example, there is data uploaded by customers, logs, and catalog pages that are created by our shopping cart. None...

Re: Shadow folder doesn't reflect changes to repository file
Just to be clear: Once I get shadow folders working, I can add files and folders that do NOT exist in the repository, right? If my shadow folder is /xyz and Vault has subfolders /xyz/1 and /xyz/2, I can go directly to the folder on the file system and create folders /xyz/foo and /xyz/bar and put fil...

Re: Shadow folder doesn't reflect changes to repository file
I thought about that, but couldn't figure out why it wouldn't copy a new file into the shadow folder. I'll try deleting the files in the shadow folders. The main problem with that is I have some folders with hundreds or thousands of files and it will take a lot of time to copy files into there that ...

Unanswered question about shadow folders
On the off chance that you only answer questions with zero replies, I'm posting this one with a link to my real question, which is here: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15180 . I've posted a reply to my own question to provide more info. Just don't want you thinking that becaus...
