SccProjectName = "SAK" SccLocalPath = "SAK" SccAuxPath = "SAK" SccProvider = "SAK" This is correct and is what your mssccprj files should look like. By any chance are you using the GUI client "get latest" command to get some of the files instead of ...

Are mssccprj.scc files supposed to be created for the projects as well as the solutions? We only get one created for the solution, and nothing for the projects. Yes, there should be a mssccproj.scc file for each project. It seems like your SourceOffSite is behaving as an older version. Could you co...

If you have multiple projects within a solution, the SOS login dialog will appear multiple times. The only way to prevent this is to enable the "remember password" option. If you attempt to open a project or add a project to source control, the login dialog should appear giving you the opt...

I think the problem may be that you are opening the project from source control every time you need to access the project. My first suggestion to resolve the problem is to have each user clear out their working folder and then open the project from source control. From this point on, the user no lon...

You could try cloaking the bin folder in the Vault GUI client, and then restarting Visual Studio. That was a workaround that seemed to have worked for others. We have had a lot of suggestions on workarounds to resolve this issue, it appears that some ideas work for some and not others. The following...

I believe the problem that you're reporting is one that we are familiar with and is supposed to be resolved by Microsoft. Can you review the following link and let me know if this isn't the same issue? http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/viewfeedback.aspx?feedbackid=f764e14d-76c4-4895-9d5b...

We will have a special "hotfix" release to solve this issue soon. I don't have a definite date yet but I will post some notes when the build is available.

Mark, From within Visual Studio 2005, if a user opens a project that has had a file deleted and that deleted file exists on their machine locally, the file will get checked in if a "get latest" operation has not been performed first. We already have this logged in our database and will be ...

We have just bought a 10 license pack and currently planning the structure of our source storage. Will the next release with the Folder Export/Import utility be available to us for free?
When you purchased Vault, did you purchase Vault with Gold Support?

Thanks,

Tim, I don't have an exact date yet as to when this problem will be resolved. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything definite. I will check into the Business Intelligence Projects issue but I am going to need some more information because I am very unfamiliar with these types of projects. Ca...

Can you tell me if the problem still exists if you open a web project that needs converted by performing the following: File - Open - Web Site - Source Control - Select Source Control Project - select the web project from the SOS tr...
