Cannot switch
I followed the steps and when a client tries to login, they get the error 'specified cast is invalid'. Switching SQL Server databases
Do you have a document on doing this?
I want to move my Vault database from one server to the other and leave the web server as is.
I'm thinking that all I need to do is back it up from one server and restore it to the other and then change the Vault configuration files.
Is this about right?

Change the default SSL port for the client
Is it possible to change the SSL port from 443 to another port on the client?
I would like to move my Vault server to a different SSL port on the web server and would need my clients to use the new SSL port.

I can reproduce this at will
I have a set of files that if I update them and check them in, the keyword expansion will reproduce the date. However, it will only do this once for each file. As I update and checking the files over time, the set of files will diminish until there are no more. This is a production system, but I do ...

Keyword Expansion puts wrong date in source file
I use these keywords: $History: $ I have multiple files where the keyword expansion duplicated the datetime from one version to the next. However, the vault history properly shows the checkin date. This problem has occurred over the 3 month history I've been using keyword expansion. It doesn't occur...

I'm so glad you added this feature. I've been waiting on it and love it. But now that I have it, I want more!!!! I would like to be able to assign my domain users to a security group within AD to enable them to access the Vault. And then I would like to map the Vault security groups to AD security g...

What timestamp is used when working offline?
Here is the scenario:
- 2/2/05 Tell the VS IDE to work offline
- 2/2/05 Add a file to the project
- 2/17/05 Bring the VS IDE online which will update Vault with my offline changes.
What datetime should I see in FILE1's history for the time it was created? 2/2 or 2/17?

Can I eradicate a user?
I know and understand the policy behind not deleting a user, but what about if I know without a doubt that the user has never interacted with the vault? For example, I mistyped their user id when creating them. So I created another user id properly spelled the next time. Is there a way to delete the...
