Reload prompt after check-in
Is there anyway to avoid getting the "This file has been modified outside the source editor" prompts after check-ins when using the VS2005 client?

Possible bug with solution level checkin
I noticed that when using the 2005 client, that if you right click the solution, Checkin will be greyed out even though there is at least one file checked out in a project.
Is this a bug?

I could try that, but man that will be a pain if its the case. Imagine having to re-bind 20-30 projects :( I'm guessing that since the existing solution was originally bound using the 2003 compatible client, that's the only client that can open it. It will probably be a matter of Unbinding the solut...

Turn on Vault client logging for the Visual Studio 2005 client (edit the devenv.exe.config file) and try it again. Attach your log file to a mail to fortress-support at sourcegear.com We'll get this sorted out.

Open from Fortress option when using VS 2005 Client
Whenever I try to open a solution using the File --> Open from Fortress option it never opens successfully. The solution file will open but Visual Studio tells me that it cannot open any of the projects. I installed Fortress using my previous Vault and Dragnet DBs. I deleted all of my working folder...

Does Fortress allow you to run as admin like Vault/Dragnet
For my personal use at my house I run Vault and Dragnet as the admin account, does Fortress allow you to do the same thing?

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I wasn't reading what vault was telling me closely enough. Vault was creating the transaction to add the file and placing it in my pending changeset (even told me that on the summary screen) but I didn't notice it. I expected for the file to be added automatically...

Merging does not copy files added in child branch
I've setup a few folders to test the automatic branching and merging in vault. I create a parent trunk and then branch 2 children off of it. In one of the children I modify a file copied from the trunk and I also add a new file. When I merge in vault, vault successfully merges the file that was copi...
