Note: these issues have been resolved in SOS 4.2.

Enabling SOS as Your Primary Source Control Provider

You no longer need to enable SOS as your primary source code control provider from within the SOS Client. This process should be done from within Visual Studio 2005 (Tools, Options, Source Control, Plug-in Selection, Current source control plug-in).

How to Open a Web Project from Source Control

When you open a project or solution from source control, Visual Studio downloads the latest version of the item and all contained files to your local working folder. After you retrieve a local copy of the item, you do not need to open it from source control again. You can proceed to use the source control commands from within Vault.

Converting a Web Project from VS .Net 2003

When converting a VS.Net 2003 project, the Visual Studio 2005 Conversion Wizard will appear after the project has been opened. Once the conversion wizard has been successful, the solution and project files are checked out. These files will need to be checked in.
