Although SourceGear will continue to support current users of SOS Collaborative Edition, there will be no further releases of the product.

Additional SOS Collab client licenses will still be available from our online store:

SOS Collab users have the option of moving to Vault with Dragnet integration or to SOS 4.1 with Dragnet. This move is free; you can exchange your SOS Collab licenses for Vault/Dragnet or SOS Classic/Dragnet.

Contact our sales department at sgstore@sourcegear.com for details.

If you'd like an alternative to Visual SourceSafe, choose Vault as your source code control tool.

If you prefer to stay with your current VSS database, then move to SOS Classic 4.1.

If you are an SOS Collab user, you'll find Dragnet familiar, despite the new interface. Dragnet is basically a port from SOS Collab's bug tracking system. Dragnet provides a Collab import tool so that you can import your bugs and discussions into Dragnet.

This KB article provides information on moving from SOS Collab to SOS 4.1 with Dragnet:
