We are trying to install Sourceoffsite collabrative Server. at the end of the installation we are getting
couldnot start the sosce primary service
We are installing Sourceoffsite collabrative Server in Windows 2000 professional system, in the same system SQL Server client is also installed.
Kindly help us in solving the problem.

The error message indicates that either the ggdata database does not exist or the gguser cannot access the database.

First check in Enterprise Manager to see if the ggdata database exists.

If not, reinstall SOS Collab. Be sure that your MS SQL Server is configured to use both Windows and SQL Server authentication.

If you do have a ggdata database, then I would suggest deleting gguser from from the ggdata database users and from SQL Security->Logins. Then recreate gguser. Use the same password you used for the SOS Collab Admin when you installed SOS Collab.
