Diagnosing e-mail notification problems

Hi All,

I am trying to get e-mail notifications working again. The issue I have is that our IT people have the mail servers set to require SMTP authentication. Right now the notifications are not getting through, where are the log files that will tell me what is going on?

Check the Vault Server log (sgvault.log in %windir%\temp\sgvault) plus your mail server log for any errors.

Vault 3.5.s and Vault 4.0.x can be configured to authenticate with a SMTP server. Check the email settings configuration in the Vault Admin Client.
