Status missing after adding files

Post by oor » Wed Mar 04, 2009 10:04 am

I have installed the repository remotely requiring SSL. Browsing projects, and most of the features look OK. This applies both to the GUI and WEB clients. So I am well connected, it seems.
The problem occurs when trying to add files and folders.
The files get the status "missing". Pressing help tells me that "missing" means missing in the work folder, but present in the repository. However, the opposite is the case by me. My local work files are well intact. However many times I delete and retry adding files, I am not able to add anything but empty folders with files having the "missing" status. Right clicking a file, then, brings up a menu with e.g. check out and diff greyed. (Which actually is logic)

What am I doing wrong in the "add files" step?

Server: XP 32 Prof, SQLServer 2005
Client: XP 32 Prof
SG version: 1.1.4

Check the Messages pane in the GUI Client to see if there are any error messages that might explain why you can't get files.

We might need to do a remote session to see what's going on. Email sourcegear.com, Attn: Linda. Please include a link to this forum post.
