64-bit diffmerge for Fedora 13

Post by shahhe » Fri Aug 06, 2010 9:21 am

Folks,

Is there a 64-bit version for fedora 13?

I installed the 32-bit version with --nodep and --ignorearch options, but when I try to run it I get following error:

$ diffmerge
-bash: /usr/bin/diffmerge: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

If I try to install it without --nodep then rpm complains about lots of missing 32-bit libraries. I have 64-bit version of all of them installed.

Sorry, but we do not have a 64-bit build at this time.
But you should be able to run the 32-bit version.

I just installed it on a 64-bit Fedora 12 system. When
I tried to install the RPM from a shell, it complained
about a bunch of missing dependencies. For grins, I
double-clicked on the RPM in the Firefox Downloads
window; it launched the gnome package kit installer
that reported the missing dependencies and then offered
to install them too. I let it proceed and everything
installed just fine. So you might try that.

Hope this helps,
jeff

The 3.3.1 release is out and has 64-bit versions for both Fedora and Ubuntu:
