CoreText seems to have an opinion about diffmerge fonts. Everything runs splendidly however.

Code: Select all
mh@thunderstorm ~/g/sqlminus/sqlminus --> git difftool

Viewing (1/1): 'sqlminus/sqlminus.py'
Launch 'diffmerge' [Y/n]:
2015-08-01 17:29:21.892 DiffMerge[67850:d07] CoreText performance note: Client called CTFontCreateWithName() using name ".Lucida Grande UI" and got font with PostScript name ".LucidaGrandeUI". For best performance, only use PostScript names when calling this API.
2015-08-01 17:29:21.893 DiffMerge[67850:d07] CoreText performance note: Set a breakpoint on CTFontLogSuboptimalRequest to debug.

I think that might have more to do with Mavericks than Core Text. Other users with Mavericks has reported this, but I haven't heard anything on any later OS.

Has anyone on a more recent OS tried this?
