Saving large files stalls on Windows.

The whole UI of diffmerge locks up, and my teammates were closing it down thinking it was crashing. I think it's critical for save file to occur on a separate thread and control a small progress bar. This is a huge bug.

Thanks for the report. I'll need to grab some additional information.
- Was this during a diff or merge? - What were sizes of the files used in the operation as well as the size of the saved file (assuming the process is not killed)? Jeff Clausius

Here is the information you've requested. I was doing a merge of a 20,000 line Unity3D scene file that is 2.64 MB. There were only 8 lines that needed to change.

zippo227: If you don't mind, I'm going to jump in on this one and see what I can do. Would you be willing to email me at support at sourcegear.com with a link to this thread? Since I wasn't in on the previous discussion, I would like to ask additional questions, and try to recreate the scenario.
